about

In Luke 24, two men were on a road from Jerusalem to Emmaus, talking with each other about Jesus of Nazareth’s death and resurrection. As they walked, Jesus himself appeared. Though the men did not recognize him, Jesus began to interpret the Old Testament scriptures to them, revealing himself as the fulfillment. When the men finally realized it was Jesus himself, Jesus vanished.

Reflecting on the encounter, the men said to one another, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?”

This is the vision of KAIO Conference. KAIO (καίω) is the Greek word used in Luke 24:32 meaning “to burn.” KAIO Conference exists to build up the next generation of kingdom workers. That through hearing and receiving the word, the hearts of the next generation would first come alive and would burn with the word.

We believe that true transformation happens when God’s word is opened, understood and lived out in obedience. Through word-driven teaching, prayer, fellowship, small groups and worship, we seek to raise a generation that doesn’t just know about Jesus in his word but is changed by Him.

KAIO Conference (est. 2025) is a youth conference hosted and run by Covenant Fellowship Church.
